"Taking Credit For Another's Effort"

The Star, 22 November 2009 pg:E7
"There are teachers who pass off the hard work put in by their colleagues in completing a task as their own, without feelings of guilt or remorse".
What do you think about the statement from the article Education in The Star by Mallika Vasugi. The article is about what happen at the secondary school or colleagues about plagiarism. That situation is usually happen in the school but nobody have to take seriously. For the example the English panel at the school work so hard to prepare teaching modules or revision papers or action plan. At the end, we see all our months of hard work, beautiful bound and labelled with another name on top.
This situation is already happen when a person have to completing their task. They only search the work done by someone esle, change a word or two, present it in another form, put their name to it and by the second all the hard work and time spent by someone else's research have become themselves.
Teacher have a mission to inform their student about the intellectual property. The teacher must encourage their student to do independent research, use the various resource that are available and warn them about plagiarism is wrongly. Also can tell them about integrity.
It is authentic and it is proof that learning is taking place. Even it take time , the process is difficult and very slowly.
